Association of parent's organizations of Ljubljana Primary Schools website
We are proud to announce our implementation of Soxer in Association’s web portal.
The website is currently undergoing testing and revision and is available at a temporary location.
The page is in Slovenian language and represents a civil movement of parents pf primary school children. The association aims to become a worthy partner in primary school education development and implementation.
The web page is built using Soxer, an open source tool we launched under GPL license in the beginning of May.
The interesting bit here is the fact it only took us 2 (non-working) days to design and build the portal from scratch. We believe reduced development to an absolute minimum amount of time, while stil maintaining maximum flexibility in structure and design. Original Soxer goals proved very useful:
- do not hide functionality on account of user-friendlyness,
- speed (of development and content administration) IS important
- flexibility to the last bit IS important
Perhaps a “pret-a-portal” project is in the making :)
